This is an inquiry-based unit designed for 8th grade students. Poetry is a form of art that can be created by anyone at anytime. There are a lot of famous poets from Emily Dickinson to Robert Frost. Having students explore the world of poetry can open new doors to exciting new places.
The students will learn about the various forms of poetry and culminate their learning into a digital form. This project is based on Indiana Academic Standards and Information Literacy Standards correlated into a cumulative project.
